On April 4th, the University of Calgary's Rundle Group of Geology and Geophysics, Mount Royal Joli Fou club and the CSEG hosted its 2nd annual Dodgeball Tournament. SeisWare and the CSEG's Foundation Mentorship Program helped sponsor the event, held at the Vecova Recreation Center. Eight teams took part in the tournament with two teams representing industry professionals. Despite coming in as heavy favorites, both downtown teams were ousted by the youth movement, with team Seisware losing to the eventual tournament champions “Family Business” in a heated final. After the tournament, students and professionals were invited to the Den for some drinks and wings and discussion on the geoscience industry. Thanks go out to Austin Newman, Nathan Fester, Stephen Kotkas, Stephen Harvey, Riley Barnett, and Russell Ashton for coordination.
