The Atlantic University Geoscience Conference, or AUGC, is a conference put on by undergraduate geoscience students. This year’s conference will be held at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Students, faculty, and industry representatives from around the Atlantic Canadian region will attend this three-day academic conference. At the conference, students will share their current research projects, listen to keynote speakers, and attend field excursions to learn about the local geology. This conference allows students to learn more about geology and meet fellow geoscience students as well as representatives in the industry. We welcome geoscience students in Atlantic Canada to register and attend this year’s conference. To keep the conference as affordable for students as possible, we rely heavily on sponsorship.
