The CSEG’s Emerging Professionals Program in conjunction with the CSEG’s Mentorship program will be holding a technical networking evening in early October aimed at connecting emerging and established geophysicists in a constructive discussion. Similar to last year, the event will commence with a panel discussion on this year’s theme, “The Future of Energy.” The session will feature professionals with experience in various areas of the energy industry, providing viewpoints from oil and gas, renewables, government and economics. The panelists will provide insightful perspectives into the current state of the energy industry as a whole, how it pertains to geophysics and shed light on where they foresee the industry in the future. Following the panel session, there will be time to network and enjoy food and refreshments with your peers and colleagues. If you are interested in sponsoring this event please email epp@cseg.ca. Registration will open in September; this is a free event open to all CSEG members. Further information can be found at: cseg.ca/social/jgf.
