Happy Spring! The 49th Doodlespiel actually happened! I’m celebrating that CSEG social events are BACK and wanted to say congratulations to the winning A bracket team of Sterling Hansen, Matt Ng, Dan Perez and Igor Senek! Fabulous work by the Doodlespiel Committee keeping everyone safe and entertained. I wanted to also give a HUGE shout out to Tacita Schmid, Doodlespiel Chairman, who not only kept the event on track throughout the pandemic and its many challenges, but is also the first (but definitely NOT last) woman to lead that Committee! Tacita, you (curling) ROCK!

DANIEL PEREZ - Headhunting Services
I am now offering Geophysics headhunting services for the Calgary energy sector. Over my career, I have experience working and collaborating in processing, inversion, quantitative interpretation, and seismic data acquisition initiatives. Through these I found a passion connecting and establishing relationships with my fellow peers. This has led me to be an active member through volunteering with various Geoscience communities such as the SEG, AAPG, and the CSPG. With the CSEG in particular, through actively volunteering and attending their well-known events, I have cultivated a network encompassing a vast demographic of geophysicists with knowledge of their skill sets and character.

If your company needs assistance with acquiring qualified candidates for your geophysical needs, I am available to expedite the process. Leveraging my knowledge of the geoscience community, I am confident I will be able to facilitate your needs.

As always, I am available to connect and catch up over a coffee!

Please contact me at: geoscience.search@gmail.com or my cell at 403-630-4611.
