During the floods last year I joined Twitter and promptly became addicted to it. I read a quote on Twitter the other day that certainly made me think and be thankful that I have the privilege of living in Canada.

“If you can afford to eat 3 meals a day for 3 weeks straight, you are in the top 15% of the richest people in the world.”

IN MEMORIUM...

We have lost many members of our community in the last year. After much thought and discussion we thought it was best to simply list the names of those that have left us. I knew many of them and can only imagine the grief of their loved ones, friends and colleagues. On behalf of the RECORDER staff, I would like to extend our sincerest sympathies. May your memories bring comfort to you. CS
