In Ron Larson’s Executive Message last month he mentioned that past presidents told him writing a monthly column for the RECORDER was one of their hardest tasks. As Kristy, Roger and I know writing a monthly column certainly is challenging. Kristy and I don’t write the whole column like Roger, but we do have to find announcements each month. That is not always as easy as it sounds. This month’s short column is a testament to that. So Ron, the three of us “other” monthly columnists are here to support you in any way we can!

Salma Khatun graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2008 with a PhD. in Geophysics, following her MSc. in Geophysics from the same school, and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from the University of Dhaka. After working in the industry as a Junior Geophysicist with BP America, BP Canada and Apache Canada, Salma has joined Edge Technologies as a junior processor.
