Guoping Li, PGeoph, has recently joined Ingrain, Inc., a digital rock physics company based in Houston. As Country Manager, he is responsible for the company’s business operations in Canada. Over the last 22 years, Guoping has worked in Calgary with Teknica, Canadian Hunter, EnCana, Canadian Natural Resources, and most recently, Talisman Energy. His new employer, Ingrain, provides technical services in 3-D digital imaging-based analyses and computations of reservoir rock properties and fluid flow characterisitcs such as porosity, permeability, elastic moduli, electrical properties and relative permeability. THE STORK HAS ARRIVED...
John Rennie, of Kelman Technologies, his wife Maya, and “big sister” Lorelei are pleased to announce the arrival of little Fiona Elizabeth. She was born on January 5th, 2009 at 8:21AM MST in Calgary’s Rockyview General Hospital, weighing in at a modest 6lb 15oz and measuring 19.7 inches. She seems destined to be a fiery redhead with bright blue eyes. The Rennie household is getting both louder and happier with the number of children equal to the number of beagles.
