STATCOM Ltd. is pleased to welcome Frank Yu and Alex Wang to our processing staff. Frank earned his M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has over 10 years of seismic processing experience. Alex earned his M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics at The University of Geoscience, Beijing, China and brings over 18 years of processing experience to our company.

Statcom would also like to welcome Tom Dumancic to our tapecopy / archive division. Tom has over 6 years experience in this field.

ARCIS Processing is pleased to announce Mr. Timothy A. Nordquist has joined the division as of October 16, 2000. Mr. Nordquist has over eight years of experience processing 20 data sets primarily in Canada. Tim will hold the position of Project Leader and will be involved with 2D/3D land projects. Tim will further add to Arcis Processing ongoing commitment to increasing its technical capability and experience with key individuals. ARCIS Processing is also pleased to welcome Jennifer Sparling who has joined our team as of October 16, 2000 as a Geophysical Technician for seismic data processing.

Dr. Rainer Tonn is pleased to announce his return to Calgary. For more than 10 years Rainer worked as a Geophysicist for Wintershall – in Germany, Canada and most recently Argentina. In November he joined PanCanadian. Rainer can be reached at r_a_tonn@hotmail.com.
