Crestar would like to announce the following organizational changes made effective December 2, 1999: Dave Nordin, past Director of Geophysics is now District Manager, Northwest District, and reports to Avie Hutchinson, General Manager, West Region. Abhi Manerikar is now Director of Geophysics for all geophysical activities within Crestar.

The Board of Directors of Veritas DGC Inc. announced january 3, 2000, the election of Richard C. White as Chief Executive Officer, effective january 24. The announcement made by David Robson, current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, who will become Executive Chairman of the board concurrent with White's appointment. A seismic industry veteran, White was most recently President of the Western Geophysical division of Baker Hughes Inc. White, 44, was Senior Vice President of its Western Geophysical division for the past five years. Prior to the appointment, he was Chief Operating Officer of Western Geophysical, in charge of its global activities, and served in other management positions since joining the predecessor of Western Atlas in 1978.
Other Veritas executive management will continue in their current roles. Steve Ludlow, Vice Chairman and Anthony Tripodo, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, will continue to report to Robson. TIm Wells, Chief Operating Officer, will report to White.
