Change in season, change in face! Fall is here, and so am I - welcome to my inaugural "Tracing the Industry" column. Even though the summer weather was bad, the market picked up significantly: global economic recovery of all commodities has helped the industry enormously. According to September's investment figures, the price of WTI oil has increased 100°/', during the past 9 months, YMEX gas price is about US$3/Mcf, and next winter's Alberta spot gas is approaching CA $4.00/Mcf.
