LUNCH & LEARN – Seismic Acquisition – 22/01/14
The upcoming Lunch & Learn (presented by Doug Pruden of Geo-Reservoir Solutions Ltd. and Jason Schweigert of BJV 3D Design) is an introduction to how seismic acquisition parameters should be tailored to the geological objectives. The presentation will walk through a case history and serve to demonstrate how not all 3D designs are up to the tasks required of them. This Lunch & Learn is intended for new geoscience and engineering graduates who wish to gain some insight into what goes into the design of an effective 3D seismic program.
Registration is limited, so please contact Candace to secure your spot.

Doodlespiel 2014
On behalf of the 2014 Doodlespiel Committee, I would like to invite you to the 42nd annual CSEG Doodlespiel. As Chairman of this year’s Doodlespiel committee I am excited to promote and participate in the 42nd Doodlespiel to be held in Banff, January 24th – 26th, 2014. The committee is already working to ensure that this year’s event will carry on the success and traditions of years past.
The mandate of the Doodlespiel is to bring our industry members together promoting fellowship and competition in a unique, fun and social setting. It’s my belief that the Doodlespiel is one of the best social events our industry offers, and without the continued support of participants and sponsors the event wouldn’t be possible.
Keeping with the spirit of the Doodlespiel, participants will see the return of draw to the button and human curling. We would also like to encourage participants to be present for door prizes and dinner on Friday night after registration. Cash prizes will be handed out for the team with the best costumes/team spirit.
Additional information regarding host hotels, schedule of events, draw, rules and regulations, registration and sponsorship information will be posted on the website www.doodlespiel.com when available.
