GEOSKILLS 2012 – Save the Date and Sponsorship Opportunities

What is GeoSkills?

GeoSkills is an annual one-day conference (February 1st, 2012) organized by a joint committee of students and industry professionals whose goal is to bring quality speakers, students and working professionals together for a day of learning, lectures and interaction between these groups. GeoSkills is open to any industry member or student.

This year, we expect approximately 250 Geoscience students from Mount Royal University, the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta to attend. There will be an evening mixer to bring together the students and industry members.

GeoSkills offers your company or organization the opportunity to show support, gain exposure, and build relationships with Alberta’s future geoscientists. We provide our sponsors with the opportunity to distribute information about the work that is undertaken as well as what they hope to find in their future employees. HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE – TARGET DATA LTD.

With the holiday season approaching, all of us at Target Data Ltd. would like to wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.

Unfortunately for many people, the holiday season is difficult. Food bank usage across the country has risen substantially, up 26% over the past three years. Last year over 146,000 clients, 42% of them children, used the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank. They are an organization that is dedicated to providing quality, nutritious food to families in need. The Emergency Food Hamper program is used by individuals and families who typically have at least one source of income, but do not have enough to make ends meet.

Team Target, as part of our ongoing commitment to our community would like to ask you to help us help the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank this holiday season.

From November 21st through December 14th, Target Data representatives will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items or cash for the Food Bank. We would be happy to make arrangements to pick up your contribution. Food donations are always appreciated, and for every $1 donation, the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank can distribute $4 worth of food.

Fugro Gravity and Magnetic Non-Exclusive Data on the SDLS Database
