April 2010 – it feels like spring has sprung!

If you are like me, you are loading up on allergy medication and there is just not enough Kleenex in the world to keep my nose from running – yep, I love spring. On the lighter side, this will be my last Grapevine column for awhile, I am expecting my second child in early May, so if you have any industry news, I have left my column in more than capable hands, Kristy Manchul.

DOODLEBUG TOURNAMENT 2010

58th Annual Doodlebug Golf Tournament
August 19-21, 2010 Jasper Park Lodge

The Doodlebug Golf Tournament is an event held each summer that provides a competitive golf venue for CSEG members of all levels and ability, from scratch golfers to true first-timers. Participants and their guests will enjoy a full schedule of formal and informal social events throughout each day and on into the evenings. Similar to Doodlespiel and Ski Spree, it is the social and networking aspect of this event that provides the basis for a great weekend amongst new and old friends of the Canadian Geophysical Industry.

The Jasper Park Lodge is one of Canada’s premier resorts that offers Doodlebug participants access to this fantastic venue at a very reasonable cost. The golf course is challenging, but extremely forgiving and each hole bears a different and distinctive view of the majestic Rocky Mountains.

The 2010 Committee hopes that you will consider this event in your plans for this summer. www.doodlebuggolf.ca.
