3D INVERSION NOW AVAILABLE
Ulterra Geoscience Ltd. is now offering 3D Inversion services. Ulterra is a newly formed company, based in Calgary, offering advanced geophysical processing services. The new 3D inversion product uses the Hampson-Russell STRATA algorithm, accommodating any number of wells and providing maximum geologic resolution. In addition to this, Ulterra provides services, research and consulting on all of Hampson-Russell’s products.
GEO-QUEST SYSTEMS TO MARKET TWO APPLICATIONS FROM RADIAN CORPORATION
GeoQuest Systems, Inc. and Radian Corporation announced the signing of an agreement whereby GeoQuest Systems will market two of Radian’s software applications, CPS3(R) and the Full Fault Modeling System (FFMSTM). CPS-3 is a computer mapping system used to model (x, y, z) data for geologic, environmental and GIS applications, and GGMS automates volumetric modeling of multiple horizons with vertical and non-vertical faults. Both applications will be marketed worldwide in conjunction with GeoQuest Systems’ Interactive Exploration System (IES) and Charisma product lines.
